The Rector

News

Work on the ringing room continues slowly, mainly due to holidays, but it is now scheduled to be completed by the end of September. Many thanks are due to all those who have given their time and energy to cleaning up ready for weddings and Sunday services – it has been a bit soul destroying as we knew that it would be as bad as ever in a couple of days!

Events

19th September – Concert by Galliarda in aid of the Church
Historical music on period instruments. Dr. Burney’s Journeys- A musical tour of Europe in the footsteps of this great 18th Century musician and historian. Tickets £8, which include refreshments, available from Angela. Please support this as it is for the church funds.

10th October – Harvest Supper. Cost £7. Time 6.30 pm for
7 pm. Please let Herbert know if you would like to come.

11th October – Harvest Auction to be held after the Evening Service. NB. All donations of produce to decorate the Church will be very gratefully received (no tinned items please). Please contact me should you require anything to be collected.

7th November Concert by Radcliffe Ladies Choir at 7.30 pm with refreshments afterwards

22nd November – Dedication of the new Ringing Room and Bells by the Bishop of Sherwood – more details next month.

29th November - 3rd Choral Evensongs - 6:30pm

31st January - 4th Choral Evensongs - 6:30pm
